Cemetery	Dever Family Cemetery 2
Location	Spring Creek, Rockingham County, Virginia. Was located on the hill south of Route 613 and west of junction with Route 750 - now the J. C. Phillips Place.
Notes	No attempt was made to find this cemetery in 2003. In 1967 J. Robert Swank wrote; "There is evidence of a dozen or more graves marked with field stones. Dever - parents of Mrs. John A. Patterson and others including some slaves. Rockingham County Marriage Records: 1799 - Agnes B. Dever married William Phillip 1833 - Lorena Dever married Henry Phillips. Tax Book for year 1856 shows: James A. Dever - 158 a. on Spring Creek; James H. Dever - 207 a. on Briery Branch; Martin Dever - 143 a. on Spring Creek; Polly Dever - est. on Spring Creek; Hugh Dever by patent 8-1-1756 on Beaver Creek."
