CemeteryHarrison Family Cemetery 2
LocationLongs Pump area, Rockingham County, Virginia. From Court Square downtown Harrisonburg, take Route 11 north (N. Main St. name changes to Valley Pike). Go 6.9 miles and Longs Pump Farm is on the left side of the road at the intersection of Route 11 and Route 721 (Longs Pump Road). Cemetery is located on the right side of Route 11 through a gate and around behind an old log house and barn. Stop at the farm house first and get permission to enter onto the property.
NotesSection 1 is a fairly new restoration of the Harrison headstones only and enclosed by a fence. Section 2 is the remains of other families buried in the original Harrison Cemetery but not restored. This section is over run by cattle and not protected.
