Signature Emanuel Suter-Inspired Pottery
Hot off the wheel!

One of the treasures of the Rocktown History pottery collection is a five-gallon stoneware crock made and decorated by Shenandoah Valley potter Emanuel Suter (1833-1902). Suter’s chicken design is exceptionally rare—only two pieces are known to exist.
Rocktown History is partnering with Potomac Clay to create a signature Emanuel Suter Chicken Mug inspired by this remarkable piece of local history.
Pricing will be announced soon. If you’re interested in purchasing a mug, join our early interest list. Your response will help us determine production quantities.
